National Protect Your Identity Week (PYIW) took place from October 19-25, 2008. Spearheaded by the NFCC, this initiative was designed to bring Identity Theft awareness and prevention programs to consumers in communities across the country.
On November 25, visit the MSN Money-NFCC "Ask a Credit Counselor" Message Board to ask an NFCC-certified counselor your questions surrounding ID Theft protection or other financial issues.
Experian is also providing free one-year subscriptions to their credit monitoring service to the first 10,000 consumers through the NFCC-MSN Money Message Board.
